(Orothon) A fireball streaks through the air and blasts the bewitched human puppet to smoking bits. Norixious, a portly, copper-yellow Dragonborn, smirks as even members of his group have to dive out of the way to avoid the explosion of flames. He saunters over to the former melee and kneels down to grab the newly charred corpse. “Dinnertime.”

Norixious is a trip. A wizard by choice and a vampire by chance, this big husky lizard-boy is full of surprises. Yes, he’s often far – FAAARRR – outside the fight, but he still packs a punch slinging ranged spells like Fireball.
When I saw this deep golden pineapple, it reminded me of how I picture Nori’s Dragonborn skin color and texture. Pairing that gorgeous pineapple with a smoky mezcal seemed like a perfect combination.

I originally wanted the pineapple to be charred/smoked but I had to call an audible and decided to go with caramelized vibe.
The pineapple was surprisingly subtle in the simple syrup, but that meant it really let the smooth smokiness of the mezcal and complex spices of the tiki bitters shine.
